I have a 2014 CX-5 Touring that has an authentic looking "Sport" emblem directly under the CX-5.
A Mazda mechanic says he's never seen that before and thinks it's an after-market addition.
This seems odd consider the car was a one year-old company vehicle.

Have any of you seen a "Sport" emblem on the back of a CX-5?

Is there a Touring "Sport" trim?

If so, I'm having trouble finding anything about it online

As far as I'm aware there are three trim levels for the CX-5 in the USA:
Sport
Touring
Grand Touring

If you are outside of the US your results may vary...(drinks)

As far the the emblem goes, I haven't seen one, but I haven't looked all that hard either.

I don't recall trim being denoted on any of the cx5s except for the awd emblem. Probably just stuck on there.

Without knowing where you're from (or where the car is from), its hard to say. US and Canada don't display trim information in the form of badges AFAIK. I agree with other posters, probably an addition by owner.

Looks nice, but I don't think it's actually legit.

Ah well, no harm, no foul.

It's not even a 'sporty-looking' SPORT. I would remove it if it can be done without damage.

So which mod are you going to do next after you debadge that sport?
