2016 CX5 needs headlights replaced

Just came back from the dealer, 92 miles on the odometer and the headlights are being replaced.Reason being they are becoming "cloudy" on the inside, but not moisture Service manager said he never saw it before.
Good thing it is warranty work LED adaptive headlights = $1000 a piece according to service guy who ordered them.

It's probably a vapor deposit from outgassing of glue or plastics used during manufacturing.

I'm glad they are taking care of it for you.

Are these the LED headlights? I asked this because the LED ones should not get warm enough to to cause this problem. I have these on my GT with both option packages.
