Help needed to remove the steering airbag plastic cover

Hi Friends,

My 2015 CX-5 steering wheel airbag cover has got a lot of scratches. I want to replace it and can find some good deals on ebay on the replacement parts (airbag cover only). However I am not sure how it can be removed. Is it something that can be just pulled out?

Search "DIY paddle shift", there's a detailed post about removing the steering wheel, perhaps there's info useful to you there.[emoji106]
