Improving the dealership experience

The link isn't working for me. It's literally including the ... rather than expanding the link at that point. Not sure how you would fix that.

Hi everyone,

I'm a grad student working on a project to improve the dealership sales experience. My group and I created an online survey that only takes five minutes. We would really appreciate your thoughts and insights on how to improve the dealership experience at Mazda.

Take the survey here: http://ucimerage.az1.qualtrics.com/S...x0uLaB52Qg5aAd

Thanks!

Most dealers I've dealt with in WA state (including Volvo, Volkswagen, Mazda, Ford and Subaru) try too hard to act like they are kissing your butt. This does not inspire confidence in me.

All I want is a well equipped shop with experienced, knowledgeable and honest mechanics and service writers who won't f**k my car up, won't waste my time and only bill for work that is actually approved and performed, using actual OEM parts and oil and done using best practices. I expect to pay a shop rate of around $100/hr. But owners of dealerships are often greedy so they don't pay enough to retain quality employees and that's where it all starts to fall apart. To add insult to injury, dealership owners often offer bonus incentives for hitting certain goals (whether it be how many billable hours a mechanic gets or how many repair $$ a shop takes in in a given month). The goal of these incentives are to maximize dealership profits but they encourage behavior that is counter productive (mechanics take shortcuts, service writers try to over sell, etc.)

I'd rather have toothpicks proping open my eyelids & be forced to watch gay porn then go back to Mazda of Lakewood. Just sayin'.

My experience with AutoNation Mazda in Corpus Christi was all positive. Being the only customer on a Friday morning certainly helped, but it was a totally no pressure situation. A great trade in on the Mazda 6 Sportwagon didn't hurt either.

Sharing dealer experiences is fine, but PLEASE don't engage the market research spammer.
