The 2013+ Mazda5 already as the turn signal in the mirror housing, so you can connect directly in the mirror housing like I did, or if you prefer a more weather proof installation, connect to the wiring inside the door. If you have a 2012 or earlier, then you will have to run the wire from somewhere else. Vasy's guide linked to at the bottom shows one possible location.

These mirrors help a lot in reducing the blind spot, which was the main reason I got them, but the integrated turn signal was a nice bonus. The blue tint also helps to reduce the glare. They do make things look further out, when compared to the stock glass, so keep this in mind when you are driving.

1. To remove the mirror, I set the mirror to the innermost position, and used my hand to pry it off. Vasy's guide linked to below also shows this step.

2. You will want to tap into the two wires connecting to the stock turn indicators in the mirror housing. They are the green and orange wires in the upper right:

3. Use the connectors provided in the kit, this is the finished product. You can add electrical tape if desired. Connect the wires to the wires on the mirror glass (not shown).
