Need help with side rails

I bought side rails for my 2014 CX5 online. Unfortunately the only installation directions are these: http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/yhst-24809172479195/cx5roofrails.pdf

and there are a lot more parts than are accounted for in those directions. Does anyone know if there are better installation instructions available?

What are the extra parts you received? or are you talking about the "Ditch Moldings" ?

Thanks for your response. The extra parts are two pairs of metal brackets that seem to attach to the covers - maybe attach the covers to the roof? It is not clear from the install instructions what to do with the metal brackets.

Mine didn't have metal brackets. Just the rails, bolts to go into the attachment points on the car, and covers to go over where the bolts are. installed as per the instructions you linked to.

Can you show what the metal brackets look like? The little almost inch long metal crimper thing? Those go on the bottom part and the top rail covers go on there. If that's what I think you're talking about .
