Hello!

I need to replace my stock HID bulbs and this time I want to try to do it myself. I think I now how to remove the bumper but is there anything else I should have in mind? I have figured out that the headlights must be removed but is that complicated or easy once the bumper is gone? It's a 2008 Mazda 5.

DIY? Yes, IMO.

To answer your specific question - headlight removal is very easy once the bumper cover is off. If you can remove the bumper cover, you are capable of removing the light/replacing the bulb.

You have to remove the headlight and front bumper to replace bulbs on the first gen? On the second gen you just reach down and replace it.

I think I will remove the bumper. It needs to be repainted anyway. Lots of scratches and stuff that doesn't look good at all. Thank you for all your answers! ☺ I feel confident enough to do the bulb replacement...
