Hi there,

I am going to have the dealer fit the OEM LED DRLs to my bi-xenon CX-5. Currently, the DRLs are a separate bulb next to the main beams. Does anyone know what happens to the existing DRLs after the LED DRLs are fitted to the front bumper?

Yes the existing DRLs are disconnected.

Thanks - so they just sit there with the bulbs in them but not connected?

Yes that's right, you could reconnect one but the other feed seems to to used as a feed for your new ones, shame !

I have these fitted and yes they disconnect the originals, only thing I don't like is the drls go off when you apply the handbrake or put headlights on, how do you wire them to stop on permantly.
