CX-5
List 3 changes/features/improvements you'd like to see on the next CX-5. Please be practical and realistic as much as possible.

Reclining rear passenger seats
Dash display (showing outside temp., mpg, etc.) moved to the center... better visibility for front passenger
Decreased cabin noise

Smaller rearview mirror
Backlit lock and window buttons
Auto hatch open button on key fob
Grab handle on both sides of the hatch
Less road noise
8 way adjustable seat on touring model

I have only had mine 6 days but these are my only complaints. A little more than three.....

Heated steering wheel
Passenger power seat
Decreased cabin noise

Bonus wish: Wish the sun roof can retract back in with just a single push and not have to hold it to close it.

The GT should have the same features as the 6 GT:
Remote tailgate release
Memory seats
Multi adjustable passenger seat

Plus:
Anti glare side mirrors
Adjustable rear seats (like Subaru Outback)
More Asian / Euro accessories available in the U.S.

Power folding mirrors in US model.
Heated mirros on all models.
Defrost for the front windshield wipers like on subaru.

-less road and wind noise
-single large speedometer , similar to mazda3
-more color options for MT version
-2.5liter engine with MT version in sport/touring trims
-reclining rear seats
-bluetooth/rear camera in sport model (fed law will force this anyways)
-wireless charging for phones
-LED daylights in all trims

All have been mentioned, and it's more than 3 wishes, but just adding my input (in order).

Power tailgate
Adjustable rear seats
Less road noise
Heated steering wheel
Power folding side mirrors

1. Heated mirrors
2. Hooks for holding a trash bag (my 2003 CRV had them on the back of the center console)
3. Functioning infotainment system

Higher center armrest, or armrest extension retrofit to 2013.
Mazda 3 infotainment firmware, with available retrofit to 2013.

1) memory seats
2) power passenger seat
3) panoramic sunroof
4) seat warmers that actually warm
5) improved navigation/voice control
6) clock in center console raised closer to eye level

I'd also say a turbo or other optional engine upgrade above and beyond the 2.5, but it would probably be counter to the whole Skyactiv/fuel economy thing, so it's not realistic.

Oh boy a wish list....wonder if Mazda engineers ever read these posts?

Reclining back seats with more leg room
Rear head rests that fold or stow so the seats can be laid flat w/o removing the headrest
Better cabin air flow from the vents
Effective USB interface
Garmin instead of TomTom
100,000 mile warranty like Hyundai
Softer seats

1. No shaking hood/mirror.
2. Open Automotive Alliance infotainment (aka Android for your car), with proper 2A USB or dock.
3. Movable and reclining rear seats.
4. Better driver ergonomics (side/center armrest to steering wheel).

Heated seats and mirrors standard in the US Touring model like they are in the Canadian GS (Touring equivalent)

-Adjustable suspension ( both firmness & height)
-heated front windshield & fluid nozzles
-two-piece rear hatch or rear window that can be lowered
-dash cam
-under-carriage skid plate
-Recaro sport seats
-larger capacity battery or dual batteries
- freer-flowing exhaust system
