how to : wire from engine compartment fuse block to interior?

Need help to pull a wire from engine compartment fuse block to interior.
I would like to tap on the Headlight fuse and connect to an aftermarket LED for light up the room when headlight is on. Thanks.

You should be able to follow the wires to the firewall and poke the wire through the same hole alongside the factory bundle.

you should also be able to tap off the wire somewhere inside, behind the dash, that comes from the headlight switch rather than trying to breach the firewall

There is a round tab on the top of the wiring grommet (engine bay side) if you slice off the tab you have a direct hole through the grommet while not harming anything within the factory wiring.

Will it do you any good to get a wire from the engine compartment to the BACK inside of the car? If it will then check page 7 8 and 9 of this document.

It is for wiring trailer lighting, but it does point out a unused wire.
