Is there a fluid reservoir for the power steering in my 2014 CX5? I know it has an electric system but, there might be fluid for the rack? Ed

The CX-5 does not feature hydraulic assist, so there is no reservoir for hydraulic fluid.
Fluid for the rack is likely a lifetime fill...

Are you having a problem?

I remember that one of the Youtube reviewers said that the CX5 kept the hydraulic steering for better handling.

That's what you get from taking YouTube reviews seriously. Mazda's CX-5 web page lists their power assist as "Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS)".

The service manual shows an electric steering assist motor in the steering wheel column.

If I know correctly, the electrical assisted steering saves gas. I was wondering how that can be, when Mazda goes for high MPGs and the keeps a hydraulically assisted steering. Now that makes sens.
