I have a 2013 CX-9 with the dealer installed roof rack. I bought some OEM cross bars, but I can't seem to get them installed without taking the roof rack off, which is difficult due to the front and rear plastic covers. The problem is that the runners that hold the cross bars in place can't slide into the bars due to the thickness of the rack. Anyone have any ideas?
