Winters here are pretty cold (-20c to -40c), so plugging in is a must. I do have cords to plug in, but unlike my last car, I don't want to wrap it around my driver side mirror and rub it against the body/paint. Does anyone know of a product that can be safely attached to the grill to wrap the cord around? If not, was thinking of getting a couple of soft hooks and using some heavy duty cable ties lol.

Up here in Alaska, most block heaters only have small pigtail cords, and the long cord usually is fixed to the power source, or something you carry separately. I have seen people wrap a cord around the front license plate frame, or there is that retractable one I found above.

My cord was hanging out the honeycomb front grill when I got it. I found that the plug actually presses into the grill and holds it there quite nicely. It has been there all summer and has never fallen out.

Edit: oh, nevermind, I now realize you are wanting to actually keep an extension cord plugged in and wrap it on the car. My bad. But still, welcome fellow winnipegger and probably increasingly less of a blue fan.
