I didn't know what else to call it, but "hood float" makes the most sense.
I've noticed that when I'm going at speed (~70mph,) I can notice the outer corners of the hood towards the windshield start separating from the fender somewhat rapidly. It's very noticeable.
Anyone else experience this?
Under inspection it seems very sturdy and well attached. I can only assume the airflow under the hood and subsequent pressure is causing the hinges just to move a bit.
I'm not concerned at the moment, but I do want to gauge others' experience.
