Struts for Engine Hood?

mazda, cx-5 awd touring
Has anyone installed support struts for the hood. Is anybody aware if these items are available for JDM or Aussie market?

Do not expect performing any major mods but checking oil, fluids and cleaning will occur. My elbow does not work anymore and it is a struggle to open hood and position the prop-up rod.

AutoExe offers one for the CX-5. Their quality and fitment is top notch, but being from Japan, expect to pay a premium. Email MazMart as they are authorized retailers of AutoExe in the states, and they are having (temporary) good deals since the exchanges are very nice right now.
