Change Headlight Bulb

Hey everyone, I want to put in Slyvania ZXE bulbs in my '14 CX-5. I do not have the tech package for no HID's.

I tried to just twist out the existing bulb with no luck. Has anyone done this before? Is there any specific instructions to do this?

Would love to change out the stock bulbs, for brighter whiter lights

They are bayonet-type. Just twist about 1/4 turn and pull out. Probably best to disconnect the cable connector first before removing bulb. Also, make sure you don't touch the glass of the bulb with your fingers (or if you do, clean thoroughly with Rubbing Alcohol). Your finger oil can crack the glass with the intense heat of the bulb.
