Would there be any negatives with using a set of 17x7 speed 3 wheels (2012) for winter tires? The offset is 55mm which will set the wheels in 5mm. I would be using the stock cx5 tire size for winter tires. It appears that the increase depth wouldn't be a problem as up to 8" wheels are spec'd by tire rack with up to a 50mm offset. Just wondering on negative impacts on handling due to the slightly narrower stance.
