Outside Temp Gauge

My temperature gauge on Sport Ed. always reads a few degrees (+5-10) more than local weather casts. Normal?

There's a bank that I go by every day with a time/temp display and my dash reading can be anywhere from 0 to 10 degrees higher or lower. I don't know who to believe. Anyone know where the sensor is on the CX-5? Probably somewhere in the nose.

I've wondered where the sensor is too. I had an issue once where it would stick and show what the mornings temperature was for about 20-30 minutes of my drive home. I washed the car and it started working again so I don't know if it had a big bug stuck on it that was insulating it or what.

It's behind the front bumper, which must be removed for access.
