Size of Oil Drain Plug

It's an 8mm hex bit, not Torx. Lots of the info you're looking for has already been bounced around in a couple of the threads. Check out the one I'm linking below. Not sure what your budget is, but the Mazda branded 0W-20 full synthetic with moly received rave reviews in oil forums. I got a case for $96 shipped, or $8/quart. Good luck! It's actually a pretty easy oil change.
