Considering how important fuel economy is to most European car buyers, it wouldn't surprise me if Mazda choose to keep the 2.0L across the range in those markets.
After all, the little 2.0L isn't going away, even in North America.
Th mazda 6 is being sold with 2.5L petrol engine. I think the next gen on cx5 will be in Europe with this engine. What is unpredictable is when this will be released as i don't understand the way in which Mazda is updating the models...while in mexico the cx5 2013 was launched in november the 2014 was launched in usa on february
