My guess is it is, but call HandA.com (site sponsor) and ask them. I just ordered a couple of filters and 9 qts of Mazda "super oil" from them. Best pricing I could find.
I asked them and they said that it is indeed the same oil filter. Will probably buy Mazda 0w20 oil and filters from HandA and perform oil changes myself. Thanks.
