Bluetooth Security Code Reset - 2010 CX9 Touring AWD Bose package w/o Nav

I have been searching the forum and can't find the solution. I just bought a used 2010 CX9 with Bose and w/o Navigation. The previous owner set a security code on the bluetooth which I cant get past (tried 0000, 1234, etc). Keep getting the message incorrect code. Has anyone found a way to reset the security code? Appreciate any assistance.

Ask him for the code.

For 2008 model:
BlueTooth Passwd Reset:

Touch Panel Display:
1. With the audio power on, press the POWER button and simultaneously press the AUDIO button for approx. 2 secs.
2. Input diagnostic code "39"
3. If resetting, press the ENTER button and verify that "PASSWD CLEARED" is displayed
4. If canceling, press the DELETE button

Standard Audio:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
2. Turn the POWER button off
3. While pressing the POWER button, simultaneously press the "PRESET 5" button and the SEEK button for 3 secs or more.
4. Verify that "PASSWD CLEARED" is displayed on the information display
