Adding aftermarket seat warmers?

Hi,

I am thinking of adding https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) warmers to MT CX-5.

Has anyone taken the upholstery from the front seat before? How difficult will it be to route the power cables to fuse box?

do you have power seats? ive always just tapped into the existing wiring right under the seat if thats the case. for pulling the covers off the seat, i just use two pairs of needle nose pliers. its really not that hard of a job. but ive never done a set of CX5 seats. but seats are seats in general really.

No, I don't have power seats. There is a clump of wires underneath. I'll see what those are for.

yea. id just start probing the wires with a test meter and see if any are 12v + at key on. you def want them to shut off when the car is off so you dont forget and accidentally leave them on.

please do not attempt to just prone wires. You will likely blow a fuse, trigger a safety feature like SRS, or even worse. seat warmers eat up wattage and should be connected separate fused 12V+ line per instructions from the vendor.
