Jerky shifting/braking

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a 2013 CX-5 GT and I was wondering if any of you had problems with rough shifts from the automatic transmission. When accelerating from a standstill, it feels like I'm in a manual car, because the car jerks at every shift. I don't mind this so much, because I've driven a manual for the last 4 years, but the biggest problem is that the rough shifts also are apparent when braking. When braking from 40-0, with constant pressure on the brakes, I feel the car jerking when it shifts into lower gears.

Does anyone else have this problem?

it is rather noticeable during the first few minutes of driving...then it gets smoother
after driving for maybe over 10min it is not as noticeable, but I could still feel the jerk a bit
as for braking, i don't have any problems of it jerking
