Wouldn't it be easier to disconnect the BCS hose on the stock TIP and then reconnect on the Corksport UNIT?
That way you don't have to risk breaking the nipple off on the solenoid. Or maybe it's not that simple...
Why not just change the instructions to reflect this? Or is it just so people can color co-ordinate the hoses? Seems like lots of people are breaking this solenoid when there is a much easier solution
We supply the silicone hoses so it will match the rest of the intake. I always use a razor blade to split the side of the rubber hose on the solenoid to remove the stock rubber hose. I have yet to break one of the solenoids.
