Tire sizes for 18x8 rims

Hi everybody,

We've been looking around for a while now and while we're still deciding between a couple rims choices, we've decided to go with 18x8s. What size tires can I run with this rim? I've tried to use a few calculators and the only one that made any sense to me says the closest match to stock is 225/60/18. But I have a feeling I may be using that one wrong as well.

a 235/60R18 would fit a 8" wide wheel better than a 225 would. If you want to use a 225, I'd try to stick with a 7" wide wheel.

Bought a set of 18x8 RTX Onyx today with Yoko Envigors 235/55/R18. I'll post pics when they're installed and sexied up.

-1 for the CX-5 being on the RTX visualiser page, but when you launch the visualizer, there's no CX-5. lol

235/55-18 is the tire I've looked at if I get the 18s
