I once subscribed to sirius when I was going on a trip through the mountains and Knew from past experience that I'd loose signal. Anyways, from my own personal experience, I think the trial period is either that your car is new and that until their system realized you were not a subscriber, you received their signal or they had a promo going on? I don't know if you got everything or select stations. the first part happens to me occasionally on select stations and I think its a promo to try and get you to subscribe.
