Question to all you GT + Tech Package Owners:

Say you lock your key fob in the car with the engine running. Are you able to use the service button to open the door?

If so, what is to say that, while waiting at a stop light, someone from outside your car presses the service button to gain access inside your vehicle?

first you cannot lock the car with the keyfob in the car, it wont allows you to do it if in PARK

it depends if you are on Drive or Park...so the situation you describe would not happen on a stop because because you can setup the doors to lock automatically once you are not in Park, there are multiple options there.

To add,

The car computer know the location of the key fob, if you are inside the car with the key and in drive at the light. The outside button will not work for the "intruder" if that is where you are going with your question. But like ZuluCX said there is multiple options on the door lock behaviour
