Issue with auto climate

Has anyone had issues withe the auto climate system? I'm not sure where the sensor is - I am guessing they only use 1 sensor.

When I have my system set to 19 degrees and the sun is out (ambient temp say 21) the car is quite warm inside but my fan speed is only going ata minimal speed which makes the cool off process quite long. I have been in other vehicles where the fan will go full speed until the temp starts coming down and then reduces until the set temp is reached.

Comments?

There is a sunlight sensor on the dash by the passenger side and a temperature sensor just to the right of the steering wheel. My mazda 5 does the same thing under the temperatures that you're describing. I don't think you get maximum fan speed unless it's scorching hot inside. If it's really warm out, I just set my temperature to the lowest setting til I feel comfortable before setting it to my desired temperature setting.
