Advanced Key won't open windows & sunroof ( CX 9 2012 )

I read about this function in another post. I got that from a locked state: unlock click, unclock click, unlock click n hold should open windows... But it won't work for me. Manual agrees with post that it should. Is there programming to be done to start this function which I could have lived without until I read about it and now see value in hot weather ventilation. Thanks in advance.
Bob/Mac... not handy, but can push buttons sequentially.

Just tried it again on my 2011. Try this: Click unlock on fob, release and click unlock again and hold it in this time.

Bob,
(1) unlock->unlock->unlock-n-hold
(2) unlock->unlock-n-hold
For some, (1) works, not (2), for others (2) works better.
For me, both work. No explanations from me. Try both, whichever works for you is fine.

Just tried it. For me #2 above worked when I did not wait too long between clicks.
