Ya I saw this yesterday, I check their site daily, I feel that if some goodies are to appear it will come from them

Can you just explain what is a hood lift? Whats the purpose of it?

Thanks in advance, the name seems to say it all but just wanna make sure I'm not missing something

Its a pneumatic lifter like your trunk hatch has. It opens the hood easily and keeps it up without the stupid stick.

That said, they are really designed for cars that you are constantly working on and I hope this isn't the case with the cx-5

Is the hood aluminium?

Yes, these lifts are common on premium cars.
