I just finished installing the REAR spring set and thought I'd post a quick DIY (other weekend Suburbia projects are delaying the front strut spring install)
Lawyer-ese: I'm not responsible for any injuries or incidents for your DIY attempt referencing this post (stash)

You need to jack up the rear of the car FORWARD of the rear "cross beam" so that it can drop down low enough to pull out the rear springs, after unbolting the rear shock.

1) I jacked up the rear of the car using a floor jack on each side. There is a small bracket with two bolts where I placed the jack pad>>

2) Remove rear wheel (obviously) and unbolt lower rear shock bolt using 17mm socket.
Rear cross beam will drop down a few inches after both shocks are unbolted so you need to support the X-beam as you do this with a 3rd floor jack.

3) Mount a spring compressor to the rear of the shock and compress spring until it an be removed easily. The upper spring has a rubber mount that will come out with the OEM spring and it has a rubber tip that installed thru a mounting hole in the upper spring mount. Lower spring has a grey plastic (FoMoCo brand) mount that will re-install with "Front arrow" facing....drumroll....Front.

4) OEM and Eibach springs:

5) Upper rubber spring mount and rubber tip posing next to other FoMoCo part, the rear brake drum. (How many Fiesta parts are on these cars???)

6) Mount the upper rubber spring mount on spring, place lower grey spring mount onto crossbeam spring opening. Install spring compressor and compress Eibach spring about 1", reinstall placing TOP of spring in first, push down slightly on rear brake drum and install lower part of spring.

7) Jack up the rear cross beam (using the 3rd floor jack or similar device) and align rear shock bolt hole, install lower shock bolt. I added some Medium (blue) Permatex locktite to the bolt. Retorque to ~ 75 FT/LBS. (Guesstimate referencing the Protege5 repair manual)

8) Eibach installed

9) Reinstall wheels, retorque lug nuts, safely lower car, etc...etc...
I didn't drive the car yet so can't comment on how it feels....stay tuned for the front spring project, probably tomorrow after I rake up all the damn leaves around the house.

its funny how nice that looks. looks like it should have stock.

like most mazdas, they have so much wheel gap to get rid of.

how's it like with the springs installed? choppy ride? manageable over speed bumps? Im interested in purchasing a set

The ride is a bit choppy vs. stock over road bumps...suspension is stiffer, nothing untolerable. No real change for speed bumps or railroad tracks, etc.

Nice DIY. Looking forward to the Front install DIY. Like RSun, I'll probably be picking up a suspension once winter is over.
