1. Soak the oxygen sensor the night before on a cold car with WD-40.
2. Disconnect and Remove battery.
3. Remove battery box bottom.
4. You will see 3 plugs under the battery box (in a line from front to back of car; 1 black, 2 grey). 2 are for the upper 02 sensor, the other is for the lower. We are replacing the upper so you will want to unplug the 2 closest to the front of the car.
5. Using the "oxygen sensor socket wrench set" loosen the oxygen sensor. BE CAREFUL as it's easy to strip the threads.
6. Pull the plugs (you just removed) through the back of the engine so they are loose and free of getting tangled when the oxygen sensor is being unscrewed.
7. Remove the entire oxygen sensor all the way.
8. Thread new sensor in and hand tighten.
9. Run cable back through back of engine through the plastic coated wire holders.
10. Plug in BOTH sensor cables (under battery box).
11. Using the "oxygen sensor socket wrench set" tighten the oxygen sensor. BE CAREFUL as it's easy to strip the threads. If you purchased the Bosch, it already came with anti-seize on the threads.
12. Ensure the cable is routed through the plastic wire holders behind the engine.
13. Reinstall battery box holder bottom.
14. Reinstall battery and reconnect.
15. PROFITS!!!!
