Foglight cover "delete"

I didn't like the "hello kitty" look the black fog light covers created so I ordered some OEM true red paint and (tried) did a body color match.
The fog light covers are held in by four tabs that you can push out from inside the fender.
(After jacking up the car, removing the front wheels and wheel well liner)
I didn't sand down the black plastic so it still has a rougher finish that the body but isn't noticeable unless you're a few inches away.
Also put three coats of clear coat on top.....still have that big mouth grin but nothing like the new 3's

Looks great. I never did like the Black "accent" pieces on the fogs

Looks nice. I may plasti-dip that area red to check out how it looks. Do you have stock rims on your car? I cannot seem to find any good pics of a red 2 with different rims.

I like it, it's different but I would make the silver ring flat black.

This is the 1st 2 I've seen like that so far, but after this thread more will do the same
