Mazda 2 DRL day runing light

DRL not effective and no insurance discount from my carrier anymore since NHTSA released the study that showed that they do nothing for accident reduction. Europeans are also backpedaling by claiming that they want greener cars and asking for lumen s (candlepower) reduction due to availability of LEDs. Requiring millions of cars to drive around with lights ON uses up a bit of fuel.

My 2 pennies.

<LOL> Just like the 18-wheelers with the signs saying "We drive with our lights on for safety."

Right. If you can't see 50,000 lbs of tractor trailer, you ain't gonna see a couple headlights until they run over you.

Just drove 30+ hours this weekend. I felt like I was playing dodgeball.

John

PS: I was going to drive one idiot off the road, but my wife wouldn't let me spin him. Sigh.
