Custom CAI-help

Here in South-Africa they do not make the 2 CAI and I know alot of you guys custom them yourselfs,,,we only get the K&N flat panel airpad which in my case is not what I want and costs way more.

Can anyone advise me on the DIY part of this?

What gains are you making with it? I also don't want the engine light to bother me LOL.

I know the 2 is fitted with a MAF sensor,,,how do you bypass that method.

Advise please guys.

Hello Jacques,

Can you measure the diameter of the pipe where the MAF sensor fits? I might be able to help you out.

I will see what I can do towards measuring it for you.

I appreaciate you trying to help me out.

The only other thing is how do I start by measuring the intake ?

What possible way is there ?

We use digital calipers to measure the inside diameter of the pipe where the MAF sensor fits.

I will ask a friend with tools in his garage to help me measure this-LOL

I just need to know the ID if the pipe and a picture of the MAF sensor.

Intake is 50mm and arm 76mm

So the MAF is 50mm-need a silicone hose reducer that matches 76mm

Correct me if im wrong?

And another thing-is there a way to import from someone reliable on the site

I am interested in importing angel eye headlights we do not have them here in SA

I need a real reliable person here guys
