simple instructions, not that complicated unless your a dodo.

start by removing wheels from car an taping off tires. (which is unnecessary, because i had no problems without taping it.)

strip the paint using klean strip or aircraft.

i had powder coat black and 7 layers of black chassis paint.
chassis paint came right off.....powder coat...HELL.

after 6 layers of stripper we decided to jump to the 400 grit sanding(wet)
.
wipe down with mineral spirits and when it dries spray your preferred .
i chose engine enamel because it is heat resistant (500 degrees)

3 layers of primer and 4 of engine enamel bronze.
spray every 45minutes.

after last spray move it inside and wake up happy :)
and i sprayed my calipers a terminator chrome while i was waiting

(me and my buddy chong lloyd and frank accomplished this in 10 hours)

thanks man. the only complicated part is prep work. good prep=good outcome.

correct me if im wrong but in you case, all you would need to do would be a fine sanding of your stockers. paint stick best on paint.

nice 400 wet sanding to a 600 at most then 2 primers and AT LEAST 3 coats of color.

i stayed at 400 for a semi matte finish so its not smooth gold.

go for it you cant go wrong.

If you guys want to paint your stock rims I suggest PlastiDip ($7 a can at Lowes, get 4 cans). I did it this weekend, it was really easy and really cheap, and it looks good!IMG-20120608-00103.jpg

(I know I need to redo my calipers, not sure how though)
