Trip Report-Michelin Latitude Tour XP

Just completed a trip this weekend through a pretty good snowstorm in souther Utah. I have an 08 GT AWD with Michelin Latitude Toup XP's - 255/50/20 V rated tires. They are awesome in ride and handling and were better than I expected when we hit the snowstorm that had left between 4-5 inches on the freeway. Car is extremely stable with the oversized tire and I could not have asked for better traction. I've also driven short distances up to the ski areas in up to 7-8" of snow and felt very secure. The V rated 255's are not cheap but I'm glad I spent the money. I know there are alternatives out there for less money with reported better traction but I am totally sold on what I've got and like the look of the 255 as well.

Wow, a 255 20" V-rated tire doing that well in the snow? That is pretty amazing.
