For those of you familar with the HD front lip I bring you the autozone side and rear lips to complete the package. (rockon)

Difficulty = Too easy.
Tools = Acetone, alcohol, or some type of cleaner to remove any oils or debris from the area where you will apply. Razor blade. Heat gun.(optional)
Cost = 15 bucks a pack. 1 pack does one side. You will also need and extra pack if you do the rears. So 45 bucks and your set.

This is a very easy install and something you can do in 10-15 minutes.

No need to jack up the car.

Make sure to use cleaner to remove any dirt or oil from the surface where you will apply to make sure it has a nice stick. In my case I used acetone.

Here is what we are workin with. You can find this in the same aisle as the silicone and super glue.

Double check the bag before you buy because some of these will have kinks in them. In my case I got stuck with one and was able to cut enough to do the rears. But most will be perfect and have no kinks. Just be on the look out.

Here is one that passed inspection.

First line it up on one side of the car.

Then just follow the line of the paint. In my case I did it just slightly higher to match that slight indent in the paint.

Once you have reached the other edge use a sharp razor blade and cut even.

Make sure to go back and press with a good amount of force to make sure it sticks real good.
This stuff is pretty sticky but with enough force you can pull it off by hand. So what I did was get a heat gun and made the lip very hot. Then came back and press it in while it was hot. After this was all said and done I couldn't remove this lip from the car pulling as hard as I could. It's on there GOOD.

So here it is once you get it on.

Here is a shot showing what you can do with the rears as well. This was a little more difficult to line up and cut to blend into the exhaust area.

Looks good to me & can't beat the cost involved or time invested. Thnx for sharing.

I was going to give you crap about trimming your car with weatherstripping, but now I don't know. I kind of like it. That's a good idea.

I took it off the car already. I only held up for a few days until it started sagging. You would need to add screws for support.

it was a nice idea based on cost effectiveness. lol the other thread went to hell however

i love the HD lip, even though mine came off going up a driveway. but this doesnt match the HD lip that you have. nice attempt though

looks nice...plug the hole in front...and put a screw in...the wind will catch and pull it right off since its has an opening
