Help 2007 2.3l Mazda 3 clutch

hi,
My car seems to have the "mazda curse" of the clutch engaging at about 1/2in from the top. once it grabs it seems fine but i cant stand it engaging all the way at the top. How can i Adjust this??
Clutch only has 30k miles on it and car is completely stock.

Ford used a tractor clutch pedal in our cars, unfortunatley all mazda3's are like this, i am going to take a look into it when i get my motor back in my car, maybe even get a new pedal made, cant be that hard.

a different clutch and pressure plate setup will change the engagement/disengagment height. its mainly the pressure plate though that will change the height though. with this said different pressure plates will change the smoothness of engagment/disengagement
