Blue Light in OH Console?

My GF's CX-9 apparently has a blue light in the overhead console, but she mentioned it wasn't 'working' anymore. She thought it was her Bluetooth system, but that seems to be working fine. Anyone know what that light is for? It's apparently in the console, near the rearview mirror. I just want to make sure she isn't making trips back to the dealer, or has maybe turned off something that she should have on.

I have the same light, its working, but don't know what it is for.

It's the "ambient lighting". There's blue lights in all of the doors and the one in the overhead console. It does provide some minor illumination to the front/mid console area.

Yeah, seems like ambient lighting. My Honda Odyssey van has the same light, only yellow.
