Does anyone know what is Mazda 2 offset (ET) for 15", 16", 17"?

I know the PCD is 4x100.

TIA

6J x 15 ET45 185/55 R15
6.5J x 16 ET45 195/45 R16
6.5J x 16 ET50 195/45 R16

Anybody with 17" stats? :)

Just from what German TV accepts its 7J x 17 ET45.

Since I'm from same country as majki (CZ), I have yet to test it. From my calculations (Link for spreadsheet) the best will be 215/35R17 since it has almost the same diameter as the rest of tires majki mentioned - therefor speedometer values should not be affected.

(Bad is that I need to go thru a special procedure to add this into my Mazdas Certificate Registration so it is legal in CZ.)

215/35?? Man, the vehicle is going to be really hard and "absolute". Do you think that this is the best idea for such a car? I don't know what is the quality of the roads in CZ but here in Athens, Greece, is really bad. I have 45 tyre profile and I really hate going over bumpy roads.

Yup, it is useless for normal roads in CZ too. ;) For normal roads I have 15" ;) I'm not doing tuning for city traffic but for speed runs on circuit or selected roads.

hmmm, i think USA 2011 specs are 6.5"x15" ET45 with 185/55/15

www.tirerack.com is starting to list out their aftermarket wheel fitments.. once I get the car, I'll find out what it can fit under there..

I've done fitments on many cars in the past.. here's one of my posts that I did when I was moderator for the LegacyGT guys:

so far I've seen 17x7.5 +40mm offset.. you'll may need to roll your fenders lips, but aside from that, I think it's ok to get a higher offset.. the limit is really in the rear since there's not much wheel well side of things to go deep.

i'm going to look into getting some NA/NB Miata wheels on the 2. The hub bore I believe is 63.4mm, and miata bores are larger at 64.1mm.. so it should be a decent fit. I believe the older 2s/121s were 54.1mm, so either the 2 or 121s, miata wheels will fit, but the offset will make the tire stick out a little bit more.

When going with a lower offset like that, just have to make sure the scrub radius isn't that much larger than stock, or the wheel bearings will get beaten up and it's not fun having to replace wheel bearings.. (thank goodness this car is light)

For USA Tirerack.com shows 17" wheels at:

Offset: +45mm
Backspacing: 5.70"
Bolt Pattern: 4-100
Rec. Tire Size:195/40-17

I'm thinking about looking into 14" winter wheels and tires, usually go down a size and thinner for better snow traction. I noticed that Majki showed 6J x 14 ET45 175/65 R14 as being available. Just looking at the front disc's I'm wondering if 14" rims will even work. Can anyone confirm 14" rims on the Mazda 2?

Thanks!

14" wheels....

I ordered a set of 14" Sport wheels (not Chinese but Kosei brand made in Thailand- pressure cast vs. gravity cast) and Continental Extreme Winter tires from Tirerack in September. If you shop for Mazda 2 winter tire package on Tirerack, they recommend the 14" for the winter set-up.

Thanks, I saw that, just had a hard time believing that they would fit after taking a quick look at the front rims (15") from the factory. Good to know that someone has them and that they work!

FWIW, I stuck my Miata 14" x 5.5" daisies on the 2 the other day while I got my tires swapped on OEM rims. Rears fit fine. Fronts hit the caliper bracket and need a spacer. And boy do they make those front disc look HUGE!

had 2 17s already on my 2. tires are both 205/40/17

1) 17 x 7.5 offset 42 - clear of any rubbing

2) 17 x 7 offset 45 - added 5mm spacers and still clear of any rubbing.
