Yet another tire question!

2011 CX-9 Grand Touring
I agree with most that the Bridgestone tires were good for the first 10k miles. I am looking into replacing mine after a bit of snow and slipping and sliding. I realize that I should have snows but to be honest I can't afford over a grand for blizzaks. I have found a great deal on the Pirelli STRs at a local shop. Is anyone running them on their 9? The 20 inch wheels are killing me!...I know it is my fault...I had to have a GT!

Plenty of threads covering tires, especially with the GT models.
Yes, the Bridgetone Duelers are bad...very bad in winter/snow.
Yes, seperate set of rims+tires (Blizzaks) might not be necessary unless you live in the snowy mountains.

Personally, I would stay with stock size.

A good set of all-season tires should do the job. From experiences posted on here, you'll see that the Toyo's and Yokohama Parada Spec-X are most recommended All-Season tires for our CX-9 Grand Touring.
