More Bass less trebel from Bose system

Just got the CX9 and it's a sweet ride however the bass performace on the Bose is not quite where I want it. I have tried all the dash audio settings I can think of (and the fine tuning of that could use some work) Basically have the Bass at +6 and the Treb at -6 and usually hit the sweet spot for thump in the 30's however the trebel is still piercing at that level. Has anyone found a gain to tune the Bose sub or another method to get more thump in the trunk? I have sent an email to Bose, I would expect a little more precision tuning out of a $700 audio system other then do you want smart sound on or off, bass -6 to +6 ect.... Where is a EQ when you need it! Thanks

Are you sure the sub is actually working? I have the standard audio system, ie non-Bose and I have the bass set to even and the treble set to +6 to get it the way I want it. And that is without a sub. With your settings you should be pushing the windows out with the bass and not be able to hear much else.
