steering wheel shake

i have a 2006 mazda 5. at high speeds i have some serious steering wheel shake when i apply the brakes. now it does not feel like my brakes are so far worn out that they are warped. could this be suspension related? i have yet to vist the dealership i just want an idea before i go vist them.

Yeah, take it to the dealer, there are several tires-n-shake threads around but not specific to when you brake, so it may be the rotors...

Sounds like rotor run-out.
