help blacking out my m3

I really want to paint my badges black but when me and my friend tried to take them off didnt know that the mazda logo is like bolted on, is there a way off popping it off easy and if not, was just wondering if it is worth trying to tape it up and painting it on the car????

First of all it's an MZ3 (Mazda) not an M3 (BMW). Second of all, there are plenty of threads on here addressing the painting of your emblems. If you are careful, it will turn out well. Otherwise, you might want to look into buying the blacked out emblems online. That's what I will do, eventually.
