New Parts and Grill Project

So I've been working on this grille project and posting updates on other forums but figured I'd show you guys some love too! I have the 3i with the ugly ass chrome piece on it and i'm not much of a chrome kind of guy. As of now there are no (as I'm aware of) open-mouthed grilles for the 2007 3i so I'm taking out the honeycomb and turning the chrome into a brushed silver, along with all other chrome emblems on my car.



here it is so far. the top chrome part is now a brushed silver and i put mazda emblem (still chromed) just so you can see the difference. right now we're just spray painting it black to find all the imperfections and smoothing them out. should be done in tomorrow or the next day.
