Transmission Filter

Does 4-sp auto have a filter?
Wix listed 58617 for 4F27E transmission.
Any direction on changing one?

Looks like you just drain the fluid, remove the pan and remove the "strainer" just like any of the other transmissions I've done this to.

If the replacement filter doesn't look or fit as good as the original I would spend the extra money on an OEM one. With so few miles why put a cheap filter back in that might fall out. I'm all for saving money, but I'd take a look. A WIX filter should be fine, but some brands are pretty dang cheaply built.
