Collared Lug nuts?

Not sure if this is possible, but I'm looking to add P71 center caps on my steelies. They require collared lugs. Anyone know where I can find collared lugs that fit the 5's bolts? The standard Crown Vic lugs won't fit, as far as I can tell.

Many GM products use lug nuts on the outside and then a plastic lug nut to hold on a cover.

No they are not quite like that so they probably wouldn't work. It might be tricky to make those work. I would think that you would need to be sure the bolt pattern is the same so that the ribs would hold the cap on.

Dodge does something similar to that on the 94-02 4x4 pickups.


You may just want to go down to the local parts store and look at all the lugnuts in your size. Sometimes they have an entire rack of drawers full of OEM lug nuts of different styles and sizes. You need to be sure the angled face that contacts the wheels are the same too. Sometimes steel wheels and aluminum have a different angle.
