Here is the final result of a custom install using a dashplate from speedline.com and a double din JVC KW-XG700 head unit.
The fit is outstanding and the sound is greatly improved.
I love the front USB and Aux inputs.

how long did the installation took you? how hard is it to remove the center console? does the volume control on steering wheel still functional ?

I didn't do it, used a professional installer, took about 2 hours.
Use this forum to find how to remove console, pics are posted.
Steering controls are functional, but you have to buy another part..about $100. US.
Improved the sound greatly, don't need to upgrade speakers.
